OZ Pathology Darwin

Oz Pathology is a new histopathology specialty laboratory that focuses on the needs of the Darwin community for tissue sample diagnosis.

We perform all processing on site at our Milner laboratory that includes all special stains and diagnostic immunohistochemistry to aid in the diagnostic process and ensure that results are determined quickly and accurately.

Oz Pathology is dedicated to the diagnostic health sector. We offer the highest standards of prompt, professional and specialised pathology services.

We are a local team that performs outstanding interpretation of your tissue sample submission. Our pathologist is always just a phone call away to answer any questions or provide expert advice.

Our services include courier collection of samples from medical clinics, transporting the specimen to our Darwin laboratory, tissue analysis and specialist reporting and interpretation of results to the referring doctor.

Oz Pathology will bulk bill ALL outpatient (GP) samples tested through Medicare for valid Medicare card holders. Private hospital patients or day surgery patients will be billed directly and then able to claim against their health insurer. There maybe a small gap payment required, depending on the level of cover. We attempt to keep these gap fees to a minimum with $50 for small samples and $100 for larger samples.
